The Continental Tavern offers the finest in Tavern Fare and Sumptuous Spirits, in an atmosphere that is comfortable, inviting and reminiscent of bygone days when hospitality was paramount.


The Tavern boasts 12 great draught beers, a hefty selection of bottled beers and 9 large LCD screens on two floors for all sports.


The Continental Tavern was recently restored to its exact look and configuration from when it was rebuilt in 1877. A spacious outdoor porch overlooking picturesque Lake Afton offers outdoor dining in a relaxed idyllic setting.

Waldorf Salad –A bed of romaine lettuce topped with homemade chicken salad and grapes.

Grilled Tuna Melt – Open face tuna topped w/ Swiss cheese on rye bread. Served with side of fries.

Italian Roast Beef Panini – Shaved roast beef, roasted red peppers, spinach and red onion on a grilled ciabatta roll. Served with a side of french fries.

Santa Fe Shrimp Wrap - Grilled blackened shrimp, lettuce, tomato, red onion, black beans, fire roasted corn, sour cream & diced avocado. Served with a side of homemade seasoned tortilla chips and pico de gallo.


Dinner $22 

Strawberry & Goat Cheese Chicken Salad – Romaine lettuce topped with tomatoes, carrots, almonds, red onion, goat cheese, and fresh strawberries tossed in a strawberry almond vinaigrette dressing.

Pineapple and Apricot Chicken – Sautéed chicken, onion, carrots, diced pineapple, diced dried apricots in a sweet and spicy sauce over rice.

Stuffed Pork Marsala – A center cut pork chop stuffed with parmesan and Romano cheese blend, mushrooms and bread crumbs topped with a rich Marsala sauce and served over parmesan and roasted garlic risotto.

Shrimp Kabobs – Grilled jumbo shrimp, onion, red and green peppers, mushrooms,  and cherry tomatoes. Served over coconut lime couscous.


Twin Bistro Filets – Two marinated and grilled 4oz Filets topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms in a demi glaze sauce. Served with a side of roasted garlic mashed potatoes and glazed carrots.
